Today, in our country, technical education for working level personnel is being provided by educational institutes, ITIs and Polytechnics. Such institutes provide general education in various fields to the students with a motive of preparing them for a wide range of industries. In most cases these students, when employed, are not in a position to discharge their duties unless they get further hands-on-training.

Keeping this in mind, SDEAS, in association with various reputed HRD organizations of national and international repute, started courses for Power and Steel fields. These specializations are in high demand. So we prepare students for the industry and help industries by providing trained people.

SDEAS is managed by the CENTRAL BOILER MAINTENANCE & RESEARCH TRUST, a philanthropic non-political and a non-profitable organization under Revenue Department, Govt. of Orissa. Besides various social and welfare activities, the trust aims to impart excellence in various facets of professional education such as engineering, computer science, information technology and mass communication through an integrated learning center.
