ABOUT
THE INSTITUTE |
 |
Central
Boiler Maintenance & Research Institute a unit of SDEAS,
under the Govt. registered trust “Central Boiler Maintenance
and Research Trust” Rourkela, Orissa, established in
1990 by a panel of Power professionals & Engineers. Now
it is ranked as one of the best Boiler Attendants Training
Institutes of India. |
 |
The
Syllabus of these Competency Certificates has been designed
and updated by long experienced power plant professionals
and academicians. It satisfies the exact needs of power and
process industries along with the mandatory requirements of
the Directorate of Factories and Boiler, IBR 1923 (V of 1923).
The Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India, has given us an institutional
code as “30T013” for sanction of scholarship.
|
 |
The
basic idea behind starting this course was to create a bridge
between Institute and Industry to train manpower and make
them readily available to Power and Process Industries for
recruitment. In this way SDEAS has been serving the nation
for the last 15 years. |
 |
Any organization
which recruits these technicians shall not only have the advantages
of getting quality man power but it will also not have to
incur any additional expenditure on their training. The attendants,
boiler operation engineers could be put straight on the job
from the day on their recruitment, giving dual advantage of
saving money and time. |
 |
In the past there
ware many boiler explosions, and to escape from that IBR was
conceived. This was a wise decision by the bureaucrats of
our country - to examine the knowledge of the boiler man.
This step minimized explosion incidents. But to seal it .the
boiler man should be properly trained and educated before
that. That is why the existence of quality boiler training
institutes is highly required. That is what we are doing and
assuring 100% safe working environment in the field of BOILER
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE. |
 |
Man power is available
but trained and experienced manpower in the field of power
and process industries are not available in proportion to
demand. To minimize this problem we have introduced full time
Industrial Training Course in association with industries.
|
 |
| We offer a “GURUKUL”
of BOILER TECHNOLOGY |
